Train 4 Life™ is a FREE 10-week inclusive fitness, nutrition, and mental wellness program for ages 14 and above.
Who Can Participate?
All athletes must be registered as a Special Olympics New Jersey athlete to participate.
*Athletes must commit to at least 8 of the 10 in-person training sessions.
How Does It Work?
Throughout the ten weeks, all participants will engage in:
Weekly, in-person group workouts every Tuesday, lasting 60-minutes and focusing on strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance (athletes must commit to 8 of the 10 in-person training sessions).
One parent/ caregiver is expected to attend each in-person session with the athlete every Tuesday.
Athletes must attend pre and post health, fitness, and lifestyle screenings given by instructors on the first and last sessions.
Nutrition, hydration, lifestyle and mental wellness education every Thursday via Zoom.
